Demulsifiers are also widely used in oil-water treatment to separate oil from water, especially in industries such as oil refining, petrochemical production, and wastewater treatment. In oil-water treatment, emulsified oil droplets in water can be challenging to remove due to the stabilizing agents present in the emulsion. The use of demulsifiers helps break down these emulsions and enhances the efficiency of oil-water separation processes.
This product is a reverse emulsifier, a composite polymer water treatment agent characterized by numerous positively charged groups along its molecular chain. It is a highly effective cationic polymer. With its powerful reverse emulsification capability, it can significantly lower the interfacial tension of oil-in-water (W/O) or water-in-oil (O/W) emulsions. This process destabilizes the emulsions by neutralizing the repulsive and attractive forces of oils or colloidal particles in wastewater, resulting in the formation of flocs. Through further chemical bridging, it facilitates the separation of oil and water, as well as the removal of harmful impurities in the wastewater, achieving the goals of oil recovery and wastewater purification. The emulsifier is highly effective in breaking water-in-oil emulsions, reducing oil-water separation time, and is water-soluble and effective across a broad pH range.
Parameter | Specification |
---|---|
Appearance | Orange-yellow liquid |
Solid Content (%) | ≥40 |
pH Value | 2-4 |
Add the product directly to the wastewater either in its original form or diluted, then stir and allow it to settle. For optimal results, use in conjunction with PAC and PAM. The ideal pH range for application is 5-12, with pronounced demulsification and flocculation effects around pH=9. The dosing point is typically selected in the rapid mixing tank of the sewage treatment process. The dosage varies depending on the type of wastewater, generally ranging from 50-1000ppm.
