BLU ACH is the member of PAC family with the highest concentration. It provides the highest alumina and basicity levels that can be found in a stable form. As it contains the most polynuclear materials and a high level of neutralization features, it is usually applied in industrial and municipal water treatment procedures, both aiming at the removal of suspended solids and organic procedures.
Interestingly, the highest grade of BLU ACH is also used in cosmetic industry.
ACH performs at lower dosages compared to other metal salt coagulants due to its high Aluminum Oxide content and basicity. In addition, it effectively coagulates over a broader pH spectrum in comparison to traditional metal salt solutions and PACs. Therefore, ACH typically has a negligible effect on the pH of treated water due to its high degree of acid neutralization.
Additionally, ACH enables improved color and turbidity removal, yielding much cleaner water.

Drinking Water: Coagulation is an effective process used in drinking water treatments. The process involes destabilizing particles, which are then able to be separated from the water.
Waste Water: Coagulation can also be applied to wastewater treatment. It helps to destabilize particles in the water, allowing for separation and purification.
Heavy metals removal is an important part of water treatments. This process involves using chemical treatments that adsorb heavy metals and help remove them from the water.
Phosphorus is one of the many pollutants found in natural water sources. Phosphorus removal processes involve chemical treatments that adsorb and remove phosphorus particles from the water.
Sludge thickening, conditioning and dewatering processes help to separate liquids and solids in a wastewater. This allows for the solids to be removed and properly disposed of.
Struvite control is the process of preventing struvite from forming and depositing on surfaces. Chemical treatments and filtering processes are used to help maintain proper water conditions.
Total Organic Carbon (TOC) removal processes involve the use of chemical treatments to remove organic compounds from water. This helps to reduce the amount of organic contaminants in the water.
Commercial antiperspirants and cosmetic fragrances are used to adsorb odors and help keep the skin dry. These products are designed to help protect and improve the user’s personal hygiene.
