Description:

  1. Anionic Polyacrylamide emulsion can be used widely as a flocculant for color removal, to make quick flocs.
  2. Anionic polyacrylamide Emulsion EA-6520 grade (APAM) is a water-based polymer.
  3. Anionic Polyacrylamide has a big range of high molecular weights from 16-25 million, with an anionic charge density ranging from 10-60%.
  4. EA-6520 grade has a high molecular weight and medium charge degree.
  5. It is most often used to increase the viscosity of water (creating a thicker solution) or to encourage the flocculation of particles present in water.
  6. Due to the polar groups on the molecular chain containing a certain amount, it can through the adsorption of solid particles suspended in water, bridge between particles or through the charge and make the particle formation of large flocs condensation. So, it can accelerate the settlement of particles in suspension, obviously to speed up the solution to clarify, promote filtering, and other effects.
  7. Mainly used for various industrial wastewater flocculation sedimentation, sedimentation, and clarification treatment, such as iron and steel plant wastewater, electroplating wastewater, wastewater metallurgy, coal washing wastewater treatment, and sludge dewatering. Can also be used to clarify and drinking water purification treatment, and sugar & juice mills.
  8. Soluble in water, safe, non-toxic, hydrolytic stable, is not sensitive to the change of pH value, anti-chlorine. Harmless, non-flammable, and non-explosive, it can be stored at room temperature, it cannot be placed in the sun. It is slightly acidic, when skin contact, wash immediately with plenty of water.

Application Methods:

1

Application
and Dosage:

The dosage range varies from 1 - 3.0 ppm depending upon the type of effluent and application. Advised to do jar tests for evaluating the functioning and approximate dosage.

Jar Test:

Put a sample of effluent in a beaker and add it as designated, agitate for 1 minute at 100-120 rpm and then slowly agitate at 60 rpm. Determine the flocs properly at this time and note the sedimentation and clarity of the top solution.


Package and Storage:

Packed in 25kg plastic drums, or 1000kg IBC drums

Stored in original packaging in a cool and dry place, away from sources of heat, flame, and direct sunlight.
